Final thoughts

I have really enjoyed making this app.

As a bride-to-be, I would actually love to use this app to plan my wedding :) I feel like it would solve all my problems and make planning more enjoyable.

If i had time or could do it again, I would maybe go a bit more in depth with some of the screens and make them do more. I also would have liked to play about with some of the other colour ways.

creating the app

I created each screen for the app in photoshop, once i had that done i put them into invision and controlled how they are going to be used. 

App Colour Schemes

I have created a logo for my app icon. I had the idea to allow each user to be able to control the way their app will look, as each wedding is different they will be able to choose their own colour scheme from these options. When first downloading the app it will be neutral creams and taupes, the icon in the centre, which can remain the colour scheme if the user is unsure.

I researched the most popular colour schemes for weddings and combined different shades so they blend well together. 

WHATS YOUR PROBLEM - BRAINSTORMING

What is the problem? Social issue? everyday hindrance? new product? poor communication?

Problems I encounter 

-forgetting passwords

-wondering where my keys are

-wondering if i left my straighteners on 

-generally being forgetful - memory app? 

-planning a wedding, theres nothing with everthing i need in the one place. virtual wedding planner?

• start skectching ideas - the way i want my interface to look 
• wireframes, storyboards. look at  Balsamiq, Moqups, and HotGloo
• test prototype - inivision app, video 
• design icons
• design each skin
• look at fonts, colour schemes
